1. Does the box also work offline?

Unfortunately not. The Rockebilly Box streams its content directly from Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube. We use the public interfaces provided by these companies. Unfortunately, these do not offer offline access to the content. Therefore, the box must be connected to a Wi-Fi network in order to work.

If you want to use it outside, you can also connect it to a hotspot that any smartphone can provide.

In summer 2025, we plan to release a 4G/5G module so that the box can also be used without a hotspot. Every box will be able to be retrofitted with it.

2. How long does it take to set up the box

The assembly video takes 36 minutes. In it, I assemble the box very slowly without an electric screwdriver or similar. I think you should have it assembled and ready to go within an hour.

3. How long does the battery last?

The battery life depends on how much you use the box, just like a laptop or smartphone. Watching videos consumes the most energy. Listening to music uses less, listening to music with the display switched off uses the least.

The battery lasts at least 5 hours in normal use with the display switched on.

4. Can I play music on the speaker myself?

No. You cannot play music on the box.
